TIE Bomber
The TIE/sa bomber was a beastly modification to TIE Advanced x1. In addition to the curved solar panels, it featured a large bomb bay next to the cockpit.
TIE Interceptor
The TIE/IN Interceptor was a wicked-looking slice of horsepower and firepower. It was designed to be bigger and better than the original TIE–the Empire’s answer to the Rebels’ A-wing.
TIE Advanced x1
It was only fitting that Darth Vader, one of the best pilots in the galaxy, should fly his own personal TIE Advanced x1. Its superior speed and firepower made him a formidable foe indeed.
A-Wing Starfighter
The most notable A-wing pilot, Arvel Crynyd, was famous for an accident–his ship spun out of control and turned a Super Star Destroyer control room into a crater. Despite this, the RZ-1 A-wing interceptor was actually a very nimble and powerful craft.
TIE Fighter
The Empire’s TIE/LN starfighter was a purely utilitarian design. Barely big enough to hold a pilot, its spherical cockpit was flanked by two huge–and iconic–radiator panels.
